Flying IN a cuckoo's nest
There were about five or six small "cuckoos" on this flight. Including two small tots who kept faithful guard all through the night and took turns screaming their little hearts out. It's one of those times when everyone says that I'm sooooooo lucky. I removed my hearing aid and implant processor and I slept a little. We are now one hour from Nantes, the flight was smooth and it's sunny. You know, the sun, that thing we see so rarely in Quebec these days. The pilot announces the weather forecast: sunny, with high temperatures over 70°. That's ground temperature, of course. Here at 11,887 feet high, the temperature is an invigorating (!) -87°.
